Two Kosher Hollywood Eateries Open Second Locations at Mixed-Use North Miami Beach Development

Macken Companies is pleased to announce that Aura, a 533,835-square-foot mixed-use development spanning a city block at 16955-17071 West Dixie Highway in North Miami Beach, has secured long-term leases with Hollywood-based Florentin Bakery and Pala Mediterranean Kitchen. These two new-to-market eateries will bring vibrant flavors, kosher offerings, and elevate the culinary scene in the heart of North Miami Beach.

Florentin Bakery has secured approximately 2,800 square feet of retail plus covered terrace space. The popular eatery, which currently operates a location at 3000 Stirling Rd. in Hollywood, FL, is expanding its footprint to serve the North Miami Beach community with its signature artisan breads, pastries, fresh sandwiches, salads and more.

Pala Mediterranean Kitchen, a kosher Mediterranean restaurant serving signature Moroccan and Israeli dishes, is expanding from its original 3317 Sheridan St, in Hollywood, FL. Pala will soon debut a 1,400 square foot space featuring indoor dining and a covered outdoor terrace space.

Aura North Miami Beach continues to attract strong interest from sought-after new to market tenants. Among the latest to secure space is Mimi Yoga, a popular infrared heated Yoga and Mat Pilates studio with existing locations in Wynwood and Coconut Grove, which will occupy approximately 2,650 square feet. Also joining the tenant lineup are The Missing Peace, a specialized early childhood occupational therapy center, and Sunrisas Dental Miami, a full-service dental practice, all offering essential wellness services that meet the everyday needs of residents and visitors alike.

The project offers sweeping views of Greynolds Park to the Intracoastal Waterway, Sunny Isles Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. The ground floor will feature a lush courtyard and wide walkways with 24-foot wood lined ceilings.

Situated at the gateway to North Miami Beach directly on the West Dixie Corridor at 16955-17071 West Dixie Highway, Aura is bordered by neighboring Aventura and nearby Sunny Isles. The project directly is north of the historic Ancient Spanish Monastery and Arthur Snyder Tennis Court Complex, and in close proximity to the county’s 265-acre Greynolds Park.
