Retail Center Anchored by Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market is 76% Leased

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (November 3, 2016)—Macken Companies and DZD Holdings are pleased to announce they have obtained a Certificate of Completion for the inline space at Palmetto Design Center in Miami Gardens. With a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market as its anchor, Palmetto Design Center is a 63,000 square-foot shopping center located at 3799 NW 167th St. in Miami Gardens.

The Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market opened in January 2015. The adjoining inline space totals in excess of 11,500 square feet and is currently over 75% leased. Tenants include T-Mobile, Lee Nails, Edible Arrangements and Cell Phone Repair. Now that the inline space is complete, the remainder of the retail center is expected to open by mid-November.

Palmetto Design Center fronts the Palmetto Expressway at Douglas Road, offering tenants high visibility from the 170,000 vehicles that drive by each day. Approximately 2,630 square feet is still available for lease.

To develop the plaza, Alan S. Macken of Macken Companies and Zvi Shiff of DZD Holdings entered into a joint venture, DZD Palmetto, to construct and lease the subject premises.
